Court overturns Alex Murdough’s murder conviction

“The trial court skilfully presided over this complex and high-profile case, and both the state and Murdo’s defense skillfully presented their cases to the jury,” the judges wrote. “However, their efforts were in vain as Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill put her finger on the scales of justice, thereby depriving Murdo of his right to a fair trial by an impartial jury.”
