Dave Portnoy don’t know how Alex Earl has been dealing with her ongoing drama. Alex Cooper.
After Earl, 25 years old, avoid answering questions Cooper, 31, opened up about her feud during the show’s Tuesday, May 12 episode today During the show, Portnoy, 49, took to social media to slam the influencer for not addressing the issue directly.
“I know all the girls love Alix Earle. If you go on TikTok or the internet, if you’re in the girl world, like some of my feeds, it feels like 95-5 Alix and I. She’s a girl girl; they love her, they love following her, Alex Cooper is a businesswoman, and all these hits are on her. I said I love both girls,” Portnoy said in one of his posts.tea by the sea“Snippet. “I think the way Alex Earl handled this is bullshit. “
The Barstool Sports boss noted that Earle had “relentlessly” taken shots at Cooper online – Earle had retweeted various videos critical of Cooper in recent months – and that, despite other promises, Earle refused to explain why they were feuding.
“Finally, Cooper said, ‘Enough is enough, you’ve had enough Such a stingy little girlif you have a problem with me, please speak up. “That’s what I do,” said Alix Earle. “I say maybe that’s hypothetical, maybe it’s sarcasm, maybe she’s not involved, but I’ll tell you this. Maybe I’m old school — I’m sure Alix has about 3,000 people advising her and working with a team of about 40 publicists — but if you’re going to talk, talk, talk, take pictures, you better answer the ring when someone calls,” Potre said.
He addressed his approach to the online beef, noting that he doesn’t need a “team” or a “script” and saying that “wholeheartedly.”
“I’m not, like, taking these cryptic shots at someone and then disappearing when the other guy says, ‘Okay, let’s go, let’s hear what it is,'” he said, adding that he was now officially part of Cooper’s team. “I still don’t know what’s going on… but if you want to chirp, chirp, chirp, ring the bell.”
Portnoy ended his tirade by noting that Earl had “ample time” to come forward but chose to say “zip.”
“So if you’re not ready to support, you shouldn’t take a photo. But they want everyone to have a worry-free time making a photo,” he added.
@stoolpresident #teabythesea I know all girls are #teamalix But I hate the way she handled the Alex Cooper controversy.
Portnoy captioned the video, “Know all girls are #teamalix but I hate the way she handled the Alex Cooper controversy,” adding the hashtag “Seaside Tea.”
US Weekly Earle’s team has been contacted for comment.
Earle is promoting her new work sports illustrated Tuesday morning co-host cover Craig Melvin Ask her about the “back and forth” between her and Cooper.
When he asked “what the hell happened” between them, Earl dodged the question, replying, “I’m trying to keep things on a positive note today. Honestly, we don’t have that much time here. And, why ruin such a great day with something not so great?”
Melvin then further asked if there was “legitimate continuity” or if the show had “everything is exaggerated“, Earl replied, “No, that’s an exaggeration. I love everyone. “
Earle and Cooper had worked together before, when the former launched her “Hot Mess” podcast in 2023 under Cooper’s Unwell Network, and struck up a friendship. The podcast was later deleted in 2025, sparking speculation about issues between the two. A source later revealed exclusively to Us Weekly that there was “tension” between them once they started working together, noting that they “conflicted over business matters” and their personal relationship and then be affected.
Earlier this year, Earle retweeted a TikTok video accusing Cooper of being an “ambulance chaser” who interviews people at their worst moments, leading to Cooper addressing Earle.
“I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake show to distract other people from being online for you. I’m not interested. I know what’s going on and so do you,” Cooper shared in a TikTok video in April. “So go ahead. Unless the false narrative you’re making up happens to be a lot more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”
Earle responded, “Okay, that’s it!” at the time, but has yet to publicly address the feud. Cooper has yet to respond further after posting the initial video.
