Man kills wife because she didn’t take his pain ‘seriously’

A Texas man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his wife because “she didn’t take his back pain seriously.”

After the shooting, police reported to his home and found Marin de Romero suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.

Romero called 911 and told the dispatcher “he had just shot his wife,” according to a police news release.

“Upon arrival, deputies located (Romero) and took him into custody without incident,” the release said. “Romero told homicide detectives that he shot Yanila Marin de Romero because she did not take his back pain seriously.”

Romero was booked into the Harris County Jail following his arrest.

It was unclear whether Romero had entered a plea or hired an attorney since his arrest. There was no immediate response from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. US WeeklyRequested comment on the case.

The investigation into the case is still ongoing.

The Facebook post continued, with Jackie explaining that the family was “going through” a “very difficult” situation and that the couple’s children “will no longer be with their parents.”

“(Marin de Romero) left this world probably not even knowing what happened in that moment,” Jackie added.

In addition to the heartfelt caption, Jacky also shared a photo of the couple together and a second photo of the couple with their three children.
