Alaska town won’t see last sunset until August

Time-lapse video from the National Weather Service shows the last sunset and sunrise for at least several months in Utqiagvik, Alaska. From now until August 2, residents will experience 84 days of midnight sun, which means uninterrupted daylight.

This natural phenomenon occurs in the Arctic and Antarctic circles during the summer.
