Morrison was arrested in April 2025 after a boy’s mother told the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office that her son reported he had been emotionally and physically abused while at school.
Deputies obtained video of the incident, which showed Morrison “instructing the child to sit on the floor while being surrounded by 18 other juvenile students and Dr. Morrison outside a circle,” according to a probable cause affidavit seen by KAIT.
Morrison allegedly told other students to put their hands on the child and hit him with an “unknown object.” Morrison allegedly verbally berated the child, while video shows another student kicking and choking the child.
After the incident, Morrison “gave the teenager a high five to express her satisfaction with the student’s behaviour”.
In the 30-minute incident, another teacher directed a student to assault a classmate “in a private area.”
After the incident, Morrison “instructed the victim to apologize to all other students” and told students they could no longer discuss what happened.
