Dashcam inside a delivery truck shows the moment a United Airlines flight collided with the truck as it approached Newark Liberty International Airport on the outskirts of New York City.
The flight from Venice, Italy, landed safely and there were no reports of injuries to the 231 passengers and crew on board. The truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident and ordered United to provide a cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder. The airline’s maintenance team is also assessing the damage to the aircraft.
