JoJo Fletcher Looking back at her personal highs and lows fertility journey before she celebrates her first time mother’s day As a parent.
“When you start this journey, you never know what’s going to happen,” the 35-year-old reality TV star exclusively said. US Weekly Tuesday, April 28th. “You don’t know if it’s going to be easy, if it’s going to be difficult, how long it’s going to take — the struggles and things you might go through.”

So I think, because of going through those things, it’s heartbreaking and very difficult… When it works, when you hold this baby in your arms, it’s just – I can’t say you appreciate it any more, but just because I feel like every mom, whether it’s your first time or whatever, you still feel so much love and it’s so special to finally see this person you created in your arms.

“We’ve been working really well as a team. Like, we’ve been doing things together,” Fletcher told us Tuesday, while promoting her partnership with Hallmark. “We travel, we work together (and) we’re together all the time, so we know we can work well as a team, but I think it’s like a whole different level when you become parents and really lean on each other and remember, ‘This is your partner, this is your teammate.'”

In the throes of life as a new parent, the reality TV star is trying to keep important date nights going while also making a point of being open and honest about the realities of pregnancy and parenthood — even if these topics are often difficult to discuss.
“It’s a very sensitive topic,” she explained to us. “My heart goes out to every mom out there who is going through this because I’ve been through it too. But always… keep hope alive. I have to hold on to hope that things will work out and that the time will come.”
She added, “I had to change my mindset and stay positive. (It’s) hard to do, (but) incredible. (I’m) so happy. The greatest thing I could ever imagine in my life is her.”
JoJo tells us that even though she was pregnant on Mother’s Day last year, she decided to wait until her daughter was born to celebrate the holiday as a mother herself.
“I was like, ‘Hey, I’m pregnant. I’m having my baby. But I’m not going to celebrate Mother’s Day, really. I’m going to wait until she gets here,'” she explained. So obviously it’s a fun first Mother’s Day for me. “
