(Photo by Jenelle Evans/Instagram)In March, it was revealed that Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, had filed for emergency custody of Jace after he allegedly pointed a gun at his relative in February. (Jess was living in North Carolina with Barbara at the time, while Janelle was living in Las Vegas with her two young children.)
Barbara’s motion was denied, but Lewis created a GoFundMe page to raise money for his son’s “medical and legal” expenses, which Evans later blasted as a “scam.”
evans Previously shared updates Jace on the April 13 episode of the “La Femme Talk” podcast.
“I’m going to let you in on something that I haven’t told anyone,” Evans said on the podcast. “You know I’ve been very quiet online and behind the scenes I’ve actually been getting help for my son as needed and he’s in a safe place (in a holistic way).”
She continued, “I think that’s the most important thing. A lot of people think that because I’m so quiet that I might not do anything and take action. But know that if I’m quiet, I’m doing something.”
