Drew Dodsonwho was accused of cheating Steven McBee Jr.girlfriend, Ellie Eklundbreaking his silence on the accusations against him.
“I wasn’t planning on addressing this, but now that it’s been brought online and kind of on its own, I felt I should say something,” Dodson wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 29. “I was at Stagecoach with a large group of friends, including people I’ve known for years.”
Dodson explained that he spent his time “enjoying the night like everyone else” at the 2026 Country Music Festival, which took place April 24-26, but somehow got caught up in “public accusations” without his consent.
“Somewhere along the way, this turned into public accusations against both of us without any dialogue or attempt to truly understand what was going on,” he continued. “I’m not here to go back and forth or fuel anything. The reality is simple, I’m just there with my friends and that’s it.”
Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund’s relationship took a turn for the worse after attending a country music festival. Dodson added that he just wanted to “clear up the misunderstanding and move on.”

Earlier this week, McBee, 33, accused Eklund, 29, of deceive him after he left the stagecoach a day early

I just got two calls about this situation,” The McBee Dynasty: The Real American Cowboys the star wrote on his Instagram on Monday, April 27. “Oh my gosh, it’s so embarrassing to have this out in the open but I see no reason to hold back. Random DMs, two phone calls and a video. Unreal. When someone shows you who they are…listen.”
McBee claims he received messages and videos of Eklund allegedly getting cozy with Dodson.
“I still don’t know what exactly happened,” he claimed in a since-deleted social media video. “All I know is that there was hand-holding, grinding, dancing, drunken stupor at an after-party.”
As far as Eklund is concerned, Deny the accusation She said she was disappointed that McBee accused her online before hearing her story.
“This is so sad to see and I am truly speechless,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday. “Given the many times I defended Steven over the course of our relationship, it was extremely frustrating and deeply unfair to have everything posted online before we had even spoken.”
In a subsequent post, Eklund shared a screenshot of a text message purportedly from McBee that read: “What a whore. Unreal. You want to hook up with every guy possible at every party. Have a good day you fucking bitch.”
“I dealt with everything in this relationship privately and respectfully, even though it wasn’t easy,” she concluded. “This situation is painful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I don’t want it to escalate further and I want it to be over. I have said what was necessary in response to his behavior and I plan to take the time to process it and move on.”
McBee and Eklund have been dating since 2025 and made their debut as a couple at BravoCon 2025.
