Snapchat brings AI-powered conversational advertising to its app

Snapchat says the new feature builds on the strength of Sponsored Snaps, which already drive 22% conversions and an average of 20% lower cost per post. With this new feature, they can use custom, AI-powered users while they’re already chatting.

The company says that 85% of users regularly have a Chat feed, and that users sent over 950 billion chats in Q1 2026 alone. Additionally, 57% of young Snapchat users send messages every day, including 4 in 10 who do it multiple times a day.
