Sabastian Sawe’s parents are proud of the runner’s historic sub-two-hour victory at the London Marathon.
The 31-year-old Kenyan crossed the line on Sunday in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 30 seconds, setting a new world record and beating the previous record holder by more than a minute.
Simon and Emily told the BBC they watched the game from their home in rural Kenya and planned a celebration when Sebastian returns.
