The 3 Best Peacock Movies to Watch This Weekend (April 25-26)


Peacock Fans need to hurry, as the streamer will be launching a new lineup of movies in less than a week.

In the meantime, there are still a few days left to enjoy some of Peacock’s most entertaining films before they head into the company’s coffers.

This week’s picks include a tense thriller, a real-life legal drama and a comedy with a hint of science fiction.

“Red Eye” (2005)

If she refuses, her father, Joe Reisert (Brian Cox), will be murdered. Lisa is a resourceful woman and will fight back, but Jackson seems to have thought of every contingency.

“Dark Waters” (2019)

if you have ever seen Erin Brockovichyou’ll recognize many of the themes in dark waterswhich is also based on a true story about a class-action lawsuit against one of America’s most powerful corporations. In this case, residents of Parkersburg, West Virginia, accused DuPont of dumping a chemical that caused cancer in the town’s residents and deformed livestock.

Twenty-five years after “Erin Brockovich” was released, the real-life achievements of the beloved film’s heroine are still being discovered – even by those closest to her. “I just happened to catch my grandkids watching Erin Brockovich,” Brockovich, 64, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting her global role.

“Hot Tub Time Machine” (2010)

Looks like a movie with a catchy title hot tub time machine A rarity in modern dramatic films. In this case, the high concept helped the film sell and become a success. John Cusack Starring Adam Yates, a recently abandoned middle-aged man reunited with his childhood friend Lou Dorchen (Rob Corddry) and Nick Webber-Agnew (Craig Robinson), vacationing at their favorite winter resort so they can forget about their unpleasant lives. Even Adam’s nephew Jacob Yates (Clark Duke), travel together.

The four men wake up in 1986 after an ill-advised hot tub accident. Everyone except Jacob returns to their childhood bodies, ready to make up for lost time. But if they don’t keep the shape of their personal history, they risk erasing their future entirely.
