DOJ drops investigation of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell

Powell’s term is coming to an end and the U.S. Senate is considering the nomination of Trump’s successor, Kevin Warsh. Thom Tillis, a leading Republican, has withdrawn his support for Warsh unless the Trump administration drops its investigation into Powell.
