Iranian woman arrested in U.S. on suspicion of trafficking weapons to Sudan

Shamim Mafi, 44, was arrested at Los Angeles Airport on Saturday and charged with “facilitating the sale of drones, bombs, bomb fuses and millions of rounds of ammunition manufactured in Iran and sold to Sudan,” First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said on X.
