US releases video purportedly showing mission to capture Iranian ship

Donald Trump said U.S. forces had intercepted an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf as part of a naval blockade.

The US President wrote on his “Truth Social” platform that the USS Tuska was impounded by the US Navy after it failed to respond to warnings to stop.

Iran said it violated the ceasefire agreement and would retaliate soon against “armed piracy.”

Centcom (U.S. Central Command) released two videos that have been combined in this edit.

They said a video showed the Iranian ship being warned before firing. A second photo showed the Marines leaving their ship and boarding the Iranian vessel, they said.
