Kelly and Jason Kelce are teaching their four young daughters how to accept.
Kelly, 34, appears on cbs morning show with philadelphia eagles defenders Jihad Campbell Talking about Autism Awareness on Friday 17th April. The podcaster revealed that when she was growing up, she had a neighbor named Tim who had autism spectrum disorder. Today, she and Jason’s four daughters — Wyatt, 6, Elliot, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 12 months — all call him Uncle Tim.
Kelly then revealed how she and Jason, 38, teach their children about the autism spectrum.
“We were just talking about his quirks, so we talked about it very openly and we said, ‘Maybe Uncle Tim won’t say hello every time he sees you. Maybe he’ll relax. Maybe he’ll have that conversation with you later,'” she explained. “Maybe he doesn’t want to answer your questions, and that’s okay. He still loves you and he wants to be with you, but maybe he’s just not ready to talk yet.”
The mum-of-four added that speaking to the girls in a “very matter-of-fact” way was helpful.
“We’re going to talk about the whole autism thing,” Kelly continued. “But at the end of the day, we talk about Tim and who he is as a person, and no matter what his quirks, we love him.”
Kelly and Jason tied the knot in April 2018 after dating for four years and welcomed Wyatt for the first time in 2019. Elliott later joined the family in 2021 and Bennett in 2023. In November 2024, the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth daughter.
“I feel like we captured so accurately how every girl feels about adding another little sister,” Kylie captioned an incredulous photo of Wyatt, Bennett crying and Elliott smiling while they wore “big sister” sweaters. “At least Ellie, Mom and Dad are on the same page!”
Kelly and Jason Welcome Finn in March 2025.
“Ouch, here she comes!” Kelly wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of the newborn.
Kelly and Jason have been candid about parenthood for years, How they raised their four daughters. Back in March, Kylie opened up about raising her children in the spotlight.
“I don’t want our kids to live in a giant cavernous mansion,” the former college hockey player explained on the Influencer show Cameron Oakes Rogers“”Talk to cam“Podcast. “I want our kids to know they have to clean up after themselves. But it’s one of those things that’s very exciting about providing these experiences for our kids, and at the same time I’m like ‘not too much’. “
Kelly continued, “Frankly, I hope they do — I just hope they don’t be assholes. I want them to be good people, and I think in a way I can’t even say it’s adversity, but in a way there’s no silver spoon.”
