Obama and Mamdani sing with kids in New York

Former President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani met for the first time Saturday at a child care center in the Bronx, where they sang to preschoolers.

Obama and Mamdani led the group in a rendition of “Wheels on the Bus,” while the children taught them about soda from the popular Korean movie “Demon Hunter.”

“You’re making the mayor feel really old,” Obama joked, and the kids laughed.

Mamdani said of the meeting in an Instagram post: “Over the course of singing on the bus, we discussed the administration’s vision for the city — one where the loveliest people in New York have the potential to have the strongest start.”
