Zayn Malik Hospitalized due to an undisclosed health scare.
“To my fans, thank you all for your love and support now and always,” Malik, 33, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Friday, April 17. “(It’s been) a long week and (I’m) still recovering unexpectedly.”
Malik posted a selfie of himself Lying on the hospital bed wearing a hospital gownHe further revealed that he felt “heartbroken” about missing out on the fan event.
“I’m heartbroken that I won’t be able to see you all this week. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you,” he said. “(I) appreciate your understanding.”
Malik did not reveal the nature of his health scare and went on to express his gratitude to the hospital staff.
“Thank you to the wonderful hospital staff, including the doctors, nurses, cardiologists, management, administration and everyone who has helped along the way and continues to help,” he concluded. “You are all legends! Big love.”
Malik dropped his fifth studio album, he continuesFriday, and he is scheduled to perform a concert in New York on Monday, April 20. The New York show was held at Rough Trade Below and was scheduled to kick off Malik’s show. this Connor Cole Tour next month.
It’s unclear whether Malik will cancel or postpone his upcoming concerts. He was happy to share before he continues with fans.
