Plans for Cipriani’s proposal eventually changed. On Christmas Day, he encouraged McCord to go to the movies with the family while she went to change.
“I came downstairs and there were rose petals everywhere and a rose petal heart,” she revealed. “Danny, get down on one knee with the ring and wait for me to walk into your heart.”
Cipriani proposed at McCord’s Los Angeles home with a 15-carat emerald-cut diamond and a band set with seven round diamonds. He also arranged for her family and friends to watch the proposal via Zoom.

“I wasn’t looking for it at all. It found me,” she told us About her feelings for Cipriani. “This is the most unlikely scenario ever because I’ve been with this guy on and off for four years and we are two shadows matching the shadow of another person.”
