AMC will premiere ‘The Audacity’ in 21 episodes on TikTok

While it’s not uncommon for networks to promote new shows by releasing full episodes on YouTube, AMC is doing something different with its Silicon Valley comedy “The Audacity.”

The video will be available on TikTok, starting Sunday morning. It is divided into 21 episodes, each lasting about three minutes, according to Deadline. The episodes will be numbered, allowing users to watch the entire show if they choose.

This could be a great way to generate buzz among younger viewers to ensure that AMC’s marketing giant is being described as the biggest network startup of the year. Or it could be an odd experiment change Quibi.

Produced by Jonathan Glatzer and starring Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg, “The Audacity” does not portray real companies or executives, but aims to give a funny look at the many things created by modern technology.

And if you don’t want to watch it in three-minute segments, you can watch the full movie on AMC and its streaming service AMC+. It will also run simultaneously on Samsung’s free Samsung TV Plus service.
