“Moonrise Kingdom” (2012)
In 1965, on New Penzance Island off the coast of New England, there was an orphan named Sam (Jared Gilman) and an emotionally unstable girl named Susie (Kara Hayward) found understanding through each other’s isolation and decided to escape together. However, on the day when a historically violent storm was about to hit the otherwise peaceful island, the two managed to escape. So a group of adults, made up of Suzy’s troubled parents (Frances McDormand and bill murray) and Sam’s well-intentioned khaki scout coach (Edward Norton) race to find wayward teenagers.

“Triangle of Sorrow” (2022)
Influencer Yaya (Chalby Dean) and her model boyfriend Carl (Harris Dickinson) is invited aboard a luxury yacht with a group of extremely wealthy people and soon finds himself shipwrecked on an island one stormy night after suffering food poisoning all over the ship, a drunken captain (Woody Harrelson) and pirate attacks. The small group of survivors suddenly find that their social status roles are reversed. Abigail, a humble but fearless and resourceful toilet cleaner (dolly de leon) becomes the de facto leader. However, tensions begin to rise as Abigail asserts her influence in increasingly brutal ways.

“American Honey” (2016)
Star(Sasha Lane) is a young woman with a troubled family life, caring for two children who are not hers and dealing with an abusive father. One day, while trying to hitchhike, she met a group of young magazine salesmen who invited her to travel with them to Kansas. As Star’s relationship with Jack deepens (Shia LaBeouf), crystal (Riley Keough), pagan (Ariel Holmes) and Corey (McCall Lombardi), she adapts to the group’s reckless, hard-partying ways and finds herself falling in love with Jack.
american honey is a refreshingly unconventional coming-of-age road trip drama that finds a breakout star in Ryan. This hodgepodge narrative resembles less a traditional three-act structure and more like a mosaic portrait of the American Midwest presented with startling authenticity by the British director Andrea Arnold. The film excels in its documentary-like approach to narrating the subject material and sensitively capturing the lives of marginalized teenagers searching for a sense of belonging.
“The Fifth Element” (1997)
