Authorities in Vermont have arrested a man accused of stalking various women into their homes and then spying on them through their windows.
Charges have been filed by the Burlington Police Department Solepakin He was charged with nine counts of voyeurism after being detained on Monday, April 6.
Parkin, 25, is a project manager for the Winooski School District. According to NBC5.
Parkin has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. US Weekly Confirmed.
A judge reportedly released him but imposed a nighttime curfew. The judge ordered that Parkin must stay at home from 8pm to 6:30am every day.
Last month, police said multiple women reported seeing a man peering through their open windows in the city’s Hill District neighborhood. Other women also reported being followed by an unknown man while walking home at night, according to investigators.

“Yesterday afternoon, we became aware of allegations made against our district’s support staff,” the Winooski School District said in a statement to NBC5. “While these allegations are unrelated to the district, we took immediate action out of an abundance of caution. Please note that all employees undergo background checks and extensive vetting prior to accepting employment. Additionally, support staff are actively supervised by licensed personnel and we are aware of the whereabouts of all students at all times.”
“At this time, the district has no reason to believe that anyone is at risk related to the incident in the news, but we will continue to monitor the situation and review all relevant information. Student safety is our top priority,” the district statement added.
Parkin’s motives are unclear. It was also unknown whether he was represented by an attorney.
The Burlington Police Department said it was thanks to tips they received from the public that they were able to identify Parkin and bring him to justice.
Police had been searching for Parkin for nearly a week. As part of the search, police decided to release video footage of one of the alleged peeping incidents. Then, three days ago, they shared new surveillance photos showing the suspected voyeur in better lighting conditions.

Police said they were continuing to investigate the allegations. Detectives asked residents to review doorbell camera footage to see if they noticed Parkin sneaking around.
