Argentina passes bill to ease protection of its glaciers

Governors from the mineral-rich provinces of Catamarca, Jujuy, Salta, Mendoza and San Juan expressed support for the bill, saying the 2010 glacier law hindered the goal of “promoting sustainable economic development in the provinces and the country without harming future generations.”
