Angel Reese debuts Victoria’s Secret ad campaign the day after deal

Reese, 23, is leading the brand’s new “Strapless Season” swim and beauty campaign. She has been modeling since her college days at Louisiana State University (LSU) and in October 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“My mom and grandma always told me basketball would stop one day, so it was always important to continue to build my platform,” she told Eller in an interview published Tuesday. “I’ve always been passionate about fashion since I was young… It’s really important to build my own brand and be myself and be super versatile on and off the court, in my clothes and even my playing style.”

Reese added that her approach to basketball has translated into fashion, and she’s quickly become a star in the WNBA.

“It’s the confidence of being able to look good and feel good, and then you can go out and kill it,” she explains. “I think practice makes perfect. You practice on the basketball court and get ready for the game. I practiced walking in heels with a walking coach for two months. When you walk into the tunnel, you’re ready for the game because you’ve practiced so much. When I practice in heels for so long and then wear what I’m wearing, I’m ready.”

The day before Reese appeared in her first Victoria’s Secret ad campaign, the WNBA world was turned upside down when the Chicago Sky traded her to Atlanta in exchange for two first-round draft picks.

With this trade, Reese transformed from a Sky team that was last in the league in points and criticized by fans and media to a dream team with realistic 2026 championship aspirations.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the Atlanta Dream,” Reese said, according to ESPN. “I’m focused on continuing to develop my game, compete at the highest level, connect with the fans, and give everything I have to the dream.”

She will now team up with guards Alyssa Gray and Ryan Howard in an effort to bring Atlanta its first WNBA championship in franchise history.

“Angel is a dynamic talent who is a perfect fit for the projects we are building in Atlanta,” said Dream General Manager padofri said in a statement. “She has proven herself to be one of the most impactful players in the league, and her competitiveness, performance and winning drive align perfectly with our vision. This is an exciting time for our organization and our fans.”
