“Two purely platonic friends who were so close in high school that we showered together,” he wrote. “During a friendly shower, we switched places so I could take turns under the water, and while our bodies were squeezed between the wall and the window, well, that was about it. The shower lasted longer than we initially expected and was much hotter than we initially expected. Great time with my good friends.”

Reza Farahan moved to San Francisco to attend college, but he was hesitant to date men because of the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
“So, imagine me in the gay mecca of the ’90s at the height of the AIDS epidemic,” he elaborates. “Speaking of watching your back… I became a top player.”
He continued: “That’s right. For those who are curious, the back door to Club Reza is just the exit and always has been. I don’t want anything in my body that isn’t properly seasoned, cooked and presented. That’s how I am gay.”

Reza’s relationship with another man also fell apart and he found love with now-husband Adam Neely.
