AI research lab Anthropic announced Monday that it signed a new partnership with Google and Broadcom for more and more power to create his Claude AI models. This restructuring of his company comes as demand for his AI models continues to grow.
The deal would expand Anthropic’s use of Google Cloud’s tensor processing units, or TPUs, the company’s advanced AI chips, and expand the partnership the companies have made. October 2025 more than a gigabyte of computing capacity.
This new iteration will come online in 2027, Anthropic said in a blog post. The company did not provide details on its expansion, but soon Broadcom’s SEC filing indicates that the deal includes 3.5 gigawatts of compute.

Anthropic did not respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment.
The company has seen demand for its Claude range explode in recent months, driven by business customers and even the US Department of Defense’s Anthropic a. supply chain risk. Anthropic also recently closed a $30 billion Series G funding round which valued the company at $380 billion.
