Three people were recently arrested in Pennsylvania on charges of leaving babies at crime scenes.

Police said Daniels, 49, and Williams, 32, were part of a copper-theft trio who raised suspicions in Upper Chichester on Monday, March 30.
Officers from the town’s police department responded to the scene after receiving a call that three people were using a saw to cut an unused Verizon cable.
Two people from Illinois, Nicole Pokrzywa and William Cosmen, were arrested after they were accused of trying to flush a baby down the toilet. “The copper inside the cables is a hot commodity for precious metals and they are melted down and taken to wherever they can be pawned,” Jones said. ABC 6.
When police arrived, police said three suspects fled in a Jeep. They left a second vehicle at the scene which was later towed to a police station.
When police examined the abandoned car, they found severed cables in the trunk and a handsaw on the passenger seat. However, the most disturbing thing in the car was a 4-month-old baby boy. Authorities said the baby was not injured in the incident.
“Back here, our officers checked the outside of the car and noticed the blanket on the back seat had moved slightly,” Jones said after the vehicle arrived at the police station and the baby was discovered.
The police lifted the blanket and found the baby sleeping soundly.
“Thankfully, the officer went in and saw something moving. After the judge signed the papers, it would be a few hours before we could execute the search warrant on them,” Jones said.
A Michigan parent has been arrested for allegedly abusing their 22-month-old son, who eventually died from malnutrition and stiffness. Authorities said Williams was arrested for cable theft shortly after the incident, although she reportedly never mentioned the baby was inside the abandoned vehicle.

It was unclear whether Daniels, Williams or Gibbes, 47, had entered a plea or retained legal counsel following their arrests. There was no immediate response from the Upper Chichester Police Department. US WeeklyRequested comment on the case.
