Google on Monday quietly released a web app it’s called “Google AI Edge Eloquent” on iOS take the likes of Whisper Flow, SuperWhisper, Willow treeand others.
The app is free to download, and once its Gemma-based automatic speech recognition (ASR) features are downloaded, you can start calling your phone. In the app, you can view the live notes, and when you take a break, the app filters out the full words like “um” and “ah” and wipes out those words.
Below the text there are options like “Required”, “Standard”, “Short”, and “Long” to change the text.

You can also turn off the cloud feature to use local-only settings. (When cloud mode is turned on, the app uses Gemini’s cloud-based examples for text cleaning.) Google AI Edge Eloquent can import some keywords, names, and jargon from your Gmail account, if you want. In addition, you can add your own words to the list.
The program displays the history of the writing session and allows you to search all of it. It can show you the words spoken in the last session, the speed of your words per minute, and the number of words spoken.
“Google AI Edge Eloquent is an advanced conversational software designed to bridge the gap between natural speech and professional, ready-to-use text. Unlike traditional software that stutters and fills in words, Eloquent uses AI to understand your meaning. It automatically replaces the ‘ums,’ ‘uhs, uhs,’ and cleans up the words,” the company’s App Store description reads.

Although the app is only available for iOS, the App Store description points to an Android version. (We’ve reached out to Google for more information, and will update this article if we hear back.)
According to the description, Eloquent offers “seamless Android integration,” which can be set up as a user keyboard for access on any device. In addition, the program can use a floating button, similar to what Wispr Flow uses on Androidso you can write easily anywhere.
AI printing software is gaining popularity among users as speech-to-text is getting better. With this trial program, Google is joining the trend. If this test is successful, we can see improved translations across Android.
