Democratic Republic of Congo agrees to take in third-country deportees from U.S.

The statement said the decision to accept so-called third-country migrants – those who originate neither from the sending nor the receiving country – is consistent with the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s commitment to human dignity, international solidarity and the protection of migrants’ rights.
