Creator Shonda Rhimes hints at the season That will be summed up for Teddy (Raver) and Owen (McKidd) in a statement last month.
“We’ve had the privilege of watching Owen and Teddy’s love story develop and deepen over the years – these two characters always seem to find their way back to each other. Giving this couple’s story the happy ending it deserves is both bittersweet and delightful,” she teased. “Kevin and Kim brought extraordinary talent, nuance and heart to their roles as Owen and Teddy. If people don’t feel uneasy when someone leaves, then the story isn’t as satisfying. It should make people uneasy and sad, so I’m sure there will be some debate, but I’ve been persuaded to change my mind before.”
