“As far as characters go, I always cheer for the history and the relationships, like they’ve been through so much together,” Roxburgh previously told us February 2025. “If they do build this love story and love triangle, Sean is safe, he’s very calm and collected. We have a bad boy who murdered someone and he had a reason. We have a guy who didn’t murder someone. We’ll see.”

“I couldn’t be more excited about this character. Of course, he’s a demon. But it’s so fun to be able to play someone with such a different moral code than the characters I’ve played before,” Dallas recalled. “But all that aside, being able to get back on screen and back on set with Melissa is the real pinnacle for me.”

“I’d been trying to get him on the show for a long time, and finally he was free,” she told us. “We’ve been going back and forth about when that was going to happen. There was another episode – I won’t say which one – that we tried to get him in.”
She concluded: “It was a perfect match for him because his killer was a shoemaker. I know Josh Dallas likes nice clothes, so we approached him because he’s a good guy.”
