TikTok has quietly added a secret emoji game that you can find in your DMs. The goal of the game is simple: use your finger to jump as far as possible by jumping through the blocks. Avoid the skeleton alligators, and be careful – the broken ropes disappear after landing once, so you have to run to the top.

When you direct your jump to the floating emoji, you’ll get a speed bump that helps you climb faster. The same thing happens when you land on a crocodile that has a propeller. If you fail to land on the crocodile or land on the shell, it’s game over. The goal of the game is to outrun your opponent. TikTok told TechCrunch on Tuesday that the game is available globally and can be accessed in one-on-one DMs and in group chats.

The Instagram version has players using their finger to move the paddle to save the emoji, the game ends when the emoji falls.

TikTok isn’t the only social media site experimenting with the DM game. Meta confirmed to TechCrunch in January that The thread is a game review you chat. The company is developing an indoor basketball game that appears to allow users to shoot hoops by flicking their finger.
