They first came up in 2009 when Odom talked about marrying Kardashian, 41, but it didn’t go down well with everyone in his life.
“My kids’ mother wouldn’t let them come to my wedding,” Odom revealed in the Tuesday, March 31, documentary.
LJ clarified in his confession that He’s ‘never even met’ Kardashian. Odom’s son was not told about the wedding, and Destiny recalled that she opted out because she “didn’t want to be a show pony” while filming the wedding on Kardashian’s reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“If you want to get married in front of 100 people and all these cameras, that’s cool. It’s up to you. Of course, it’s painful when you decide to marry someone in 30 days,” shared Morales, 46, who dated Odom from 1996 to 2008. “Then most importantly, let me tell you one more thing. This is going to be on TV.”
Meanwhile, Odom’s aunt clarified He “didn’t invite” any family members The wedding was attended by none other than his childhood best friend Pumpkin.
“I was going to a wedding that night, and he came over and talked to me for two hours. He was explaining the move he was making. He was doing it to try to better his future,” Pumpkin recalled, adding that the guest list was filled with “guys in their 60s and 70s” who would provide Odom with important connections.
Although they were absent from Odom’s big day, L.J. admitted that he loved having his dad become part of a famous family, saying, “When he married Khloe. I looked forward to Christmas because I thought, ‘I know Kris Jenner and Khloe, and they’re going to give me some great gifts.'”

As LJ’s drug addiction worsens, Destiny and LJ’s estrangement from their father deepens. They recalled an incident when they planned to march in a parade with Los Angeles Lakers players but Odom turned them down.
“Being rejected by a parent is extremely painful and painful. It definitely affects your growth,” Destiny noted. “There are some moments you never forget. Now I know he was partying and using (drugs).”
As far as Odom is concerned, Don’t remember this.
“When you do drugs, there’s always that feeling of embarrassment,” he explains. “I’m sure there are a lot more stories that I can’t remember because of where I was at the time. A lot of people do drugs and they have the best 15-minute high of their lives. They can wait until next Friday or a week after they do it. For some people, when you do drugs you unlock something that you can’t really control.”
Another insight into their relationship with Odom and Kardashian came when they discussed their 2015 overdose. (Odom fell into a coma after an overdose at a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He suffered six heart attacks and 12 strokes before struggling to regain the ability to walk and talk.)
Odom’s family has accused Kardashian of blocking them from his hospital room and forcing them to sign nondisclosure agreements. Meanwhile, Kardashian claimed she had to “filter” who she allowed into the hospital after a drug dealer tried to get into Odom’s room.
After recovering, Destiny became frustrated when he saw Odom out and about in Los Angeles without visiting his children.
“He went on this redemption tour, moving around Los Angeles and attending events. But he never went to rehab,” Destiny noted. “He acted like the coma never really happened. I was like, ‘You didn’t even come to see me.'”
Documentary ends with Odom Spending time with son LJ. He has not been seen with Destiny, making their current relationship status unclear.
“Even though he’s grown a lot over the past few years, I feel like sometimes you always have to get him back on track,” LJ added. “It looks like you’re the parrot and he’s the son. We both have a lot of growing up to do, but I feel like he has a lot of growing up to do as well.”
