“Honestly, it would be fun to be on that show. I’m a huge fan of Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. They’re so talented — everyone who’s on the show right now is great,” Armitage, 17, exclusively told Us US Weekly. “I’ve been watching this show and my whole family loves it. They do a fantastic job both as actors and as performers.”

“I believe that when you have such a great cast, and when you’ve solidified a really great core cast, diluting it or adding other people is not going to mess things up. But I don’t want to get in the way of what’s going on with them,” he noted. “It’s really cool, so I’m honored to be a part of it.”
He continued: “There are no plans right now, but you know, if it happens in a few seasons… it would be really exciting and fun. Now it’s one of those shows where I can sit back and be a fan. I don’t even have to be a part of it. I just get to nerd out and love it.”

Armitage rose to fame playing Sheldon in the hit CBS series, as a prequel big bang theory. “I’m lucky in some ways. Because I started doing this at a young age, a lot of people would come up to me and tell me, ‘You look so different.’ “It’s fun to think that if I started another project and did something completely different, it would be a great opportunity to differentiate myself in some way,” Armitage explained. “But that wasn’t even really my goal. I’m very proud of the work I did on Young Sheldon. I like it. It’s been a very interesting seven years. I didn’t escape at all. I would have loved to be in Georgie and Mandy, but now I get to switch and do something completely different, which is awesome and really fun. “

“I’m looking forward to whatever comes next and not trying to force anything. I’m enjoying the ride, it’s been really fun,” he added. “I also love the fact that my favorite characters can have a family if they want to. I have a choice.”
The actor joked that his big dream is to “monopolize” his favorite CBS show. “I need to be on ‘Survivor,’ I need to be on ‘Survivor.’ I really need to be kidnapped and have Colt Shaw rescue me,” he quipped us. “I need to go to the island (Survivor) at some point. I would love to be on every show on CBS. It would be fun to bounce around.”
