Tiger WoodsHe posted a photo after being charged with driving under the influence after a rollover crash.
The photo, posted on Friday, March 27, shows the golfer wearing a blue shirt and staring sternly into the camera as he was photographed.
Earlier on Friday, news broke that Woods, 50, was involved in a rollover accident in Jupiter Island, Florida, just after 2 p.m. local time. Authorities responded to the scene and found a pickup truck pulling a high-pressure cleaning trailer and a Land Rover driven by Woods rolled over, according to a news release from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
“The driver of the (pickup truck) looked in his rearview mirror and saw a dark-colored Land Rover passing him at high speed,” Sgt. John Budensik said at the time. “He tried to squeeze to the side of the road but it was a two-lane road and there was no shoulder for this gentleman, a high-pressure cleaner, to get off the side of the road. As he tried to move to the side of the road, the Land Rover overtook him at the last moment, swerved to avoid the collision but instead hit the rear end of the trailer.”
Woods climbed out of the Land Rover through the passenger side window and was uninjured. However, authorities believe the Land Rover driver may have been impaired and DUI investigators were called to the scene.

“Mr. Woods did show signs of injury. They did several tests. He did explain his injuries and the surgery he had. We did take that into consideration,” police said in a news release, referring to the surgery Woods underwent in October 2025 to repair a collapsed lumbar disc.
Photos from the accident scene show the vehicle overturned and parked vertically on the side of the road with visible physical damage.
The golfer did complete a breathalyser test and the result was “triple zero.” However, Woods “refuses” a urinalysis test. Woods was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI, property damage and refusing to submit to a lawful test. US Weekly Representatives for Woods have been contacted for comment.
“We know we arrested a high-profile individual … but it doesn’t matter who you are. If you break the law, we will follow the law. It’s a very easy path to take,” Budencik said at a news conference about Woods’ arrest.
Budencik continued, “As far as him being in prison, we’re going to keep him safe. We’re not going to put him in the general population. He’s not going to be with other inmates who might hurt him or try to take advantage of what he did. He’s going to pay a price, but he’s not going to pay the price of being punished in prison.”
