WhatsApp can now write AI-generated responses based on your conversation

WhatsApp is rolling out a number of new features and updates, including one that generates AI-driven responses based on your conversations. The messaging service with Meta is also introducing new features, including a new location translation system, the ability to touch photos with Meta AI, and more.

Most important, however, is the software’s upgrade to “Writing Help” that helps users write messages. On Thursday, the company that owns Meta said in a blog post that the latest update will help users find their information “accurately.”

Meta hopes that people will use the in-app technology for texting, instead of external tools like ChatGPT. Of course, not everyone will want to use this new feature, because users would prefer real conversations with friends and family over AI-generated messages. (Using AI for email writing is one thing; using it for family group messaging is another!)

The company says chats remain private even after people use Text Support.

To access the interface, users click on a connector, select the sticker icon in the text field, and then click on a pencil with a sparkledust icon to indicate the AI ​​interface.

Speaking of freeing up space, WhatsApp can now help users find and delete large files directly from any chat. This means that users can delete content they don’t need without wiping the entire conversation. For example, they can choose to only delete media files when deleting chats, and keep the chat history.

The company also announced that users will now be able to use Meta AI to interact with photos directly in chats. This will allow users to do things like remove something distracting from the image, change the background, or apply new styles.

In addition, WhatsApp now supports the ability to transfer chat history from iOS to Android, and on the same platform. In addition, users have the opportunity to have two WhatsApp accounts logged in at the same time on iOS, which is already possible on Android.

Stickers on WhatsApp are also being updated, as WhatsApp will now offer some suggestions to users while typing emojis to exchange stickers.
