Stephen Colbert to write new Lord of the Rings movie after talk show ends

The film’s official synopsis reads: “Fourteen years after Frodo’s death, Sam, Merry and Pippin relive the first steps of their adventure. Meanwhile, Sam’s daughter Ellanor discovers a long-buried secret and is determined to uncover why the War of the Ring nearly failed before it even began.”
