Savannah and her family further emphasized that they would not be able to find peace until Nancy was found and brought home.
“We cannot grieve; we can only be pained and curious,” the statement concluded. “Our focus is simply to find her and bring her home. We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life, but we cannot do that until she is taken to her final resting place.”
Nancy was reported missing on February 1, and local law enforcement officials in Arizona revealed that she was last seen on January 31.
“On behalf of our family, we thank everyone for praying for our beloved mom Nancy,” today show co-host said in a social media video on February 4 with siblings Anne and Cameron. “We felt them and we still believe she felt them too. Our mom was a kind, loyal, committed, loving, kind and bright woman. She was funny, brave and smart.”
Savannah continued, “Her grandchildren adored her, surrounded her, and kissed her. She loved fun and adventure. She was a loyal friend. She was full of kindness and knowledge.”
Savannah and her siblings also acknowledged that their mother may have been kidnapped and pleaded for her safe return. (There have been no suspects or arrests in Nancy’s disappearance, except for one person who was arrested for forging a ransom letter.)
“As a family, we are doing the best we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where sounds and images can be easily manipulated,” Savannah said at the time. “We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you own her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please contact us.”

While thanking supporters for their continued prayers, Savannah also revealed that her family is offering a $1 million reward to anyone with legitimate updates on Nancy’s whereabouts.
“We still believe in a miracle (and) she can come home,” she said. “We also know she may be lost (and) she may be gone. She may have returned to the Lord she loved and is dancing in heaven with her mom and dad, her beloved brother and our dad. If that’s true, then we’ll accept it, but we need to know where she is.”

“You can remain anonymous if you wish,” she added. “Someone knows something that could bring her own. Someone knows and we are begging you to come forward now.”
Savannah provided a follow-up explanation of the award requirements on Friday, February 27.
“Please be the one to take her home. Tips can be anonymous and rewards can be paid in cash,” Savannah via Instagram. “Only if Nancy Guthrie is rescued will a reward of up to $1 million be paid to the family, which meets the FBI’s criteria for paying a reward in this case.”
