Grey’s Anatomy kills Katie off in emotional off-screen death

Elsewhere in the episode, Winston (Anthony Hill) finally puts his feelings for Jules into action (Adelaide Kane). Teddy (Kim Raver) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are also back as they try to adjust to their new normal just days after signing divorce papers.

“A couple of scripts came in[recently]and I was like, ‘Oh, my God.'” It got chaotic and very Grey’s Anatomy -like. I love it so much,” Raver, 56, told EXCLUSIVELY US Weekly January.

“We all read what’s going on (during the meter reading) and I love it,” she shared. “Some of us were in work clothes, some were in casual clothes. And then when we found out this information, we were all shocked and surprised. We were like viewers, too, and then we looked at each other as if to say, ‘This is really happening.'”

Raffer, who has played Teddy since season six, committed “Really great” Grey’s Anatomy storyline – and revealed whether she had any concerns about her character’s fate.

“This is the life of an actor,” she points out. “It’s really just trying to be there and do the job and follow the amazing storylines that the writers give. Especially now we always have these incredible cliffhangers. No one knows.”

I’m just getting more comfortable with the craft of it, and that allows me to really enjoy the process.”
