Facebook announced Wednesday that it is launching “Creator Fast Track,” a new program designed to help creators grow on Facebook with guaranteed pay and increased content. The social networking site also shared that it paid creators nearly $3 billion through its revenue-generating programs in 2025, a 35% increase from the previous year and its year-over-year increase.
The idea behind the new monetization program is to entice creators who have built up a following on other platforms to start posting on Facebook. Instead of starting on a new platform, creators can use the app to reach the right people on Reels to help grow their followers, and three months of guaranteed pay for sharing the right Reels on Facebook.
Developers can earn $1,000 per month if they have 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, and $3,000 per month if they have one million followers on any platform.

The program also gives those who are eligible access to Facebook’s monetization tools without asking them to meet the platform’s preferences, such as limited reading, which allows them to continue receiving from posts even after the Creator Fast Track program ends.
“We wanted to address the concerns of creators that it would be a difficult process to enter Facebook and create a community from scratch and create a following,” said Yair Livne, VP of Creative at Facebook, in a press conference. “So we launched this program to deal with that.”
Livne also said that if it takes creators longer than three months to build their audience on Facebook, the company will continue to support them. Although the bonus money only lasts for three months, Facebook will continue to promote the reach when the company believes that the creator has found their audience on Facebook.
“You don’t have to create a new, new version of the program to meet what we’ve sent,” Livne said. “Obviously, we want you to bring the latest, but if you have a list of great songs, we’d love to have that too, that fits the content of the show. I’m really happy about that. This is something that’s responding to a lot of what we’ve heard from the famous producers that we’ve tried to attract, or come with.”
As part of the announcement, the social network shared that the number of people who make more than $10,000 per year on Facebook has grown by 30% per year. In addition, 60% of all Facebook payments to creators last year went to reels, while the rest went to Stories, photos, and articles.

Facebook also announced that it will introduce new ways to help creators better understand their content.
The new “qualified views” metric tells creators how many views their content is eligible for monetization. Livne explained that there are several reasons why ideas may not qualify. For example, a person may only watch one second of a producer’s video before moving on.
The new “earnings” metric will show the average revenue per 1,000 qualified views, while the “non-qualifying views” metric will explain why certain views are not qualifying and what creators can do to improve profits from future content.
