GammaThe platform that allows you to use AI to create visuals and websites, is introducing a new product for image creation in the creation of marketing materials because it wants to compete better with the likes of it. Canvas and Adobe.
The company says its new tool, called Gamma Imagine, will allow users to use data to create digital content such as interactive charts and visuals, marketing collateral, group photos, and infographics. Gamma currently offers over 100 templates, which you can use in conjunction with its AI tools to create the type of content you want.
To create data-driven product development capabilities, the company integrates with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Make, Zapier, Atlassian, n8n, and Superhuman Go.
“When we started working with many of our early adopters, we realized that in the presentations they wanted to create, there were a few different types of images that they all had,” Grant Lee, Gamma’s CEO and co-founder, told TechCrunch. “So we worked with them to develop new tools that allow them to go beyond their speech,” he said.
Lee believes that Gamma sits well between professional tools like Adobe or Figma, and basic tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
“We think that we can serve the longest tail of knowledge workers and business professionals who want their work to be transparent communication, but they don’t have the tools. They need to draw in the arts to be able to help with these things, and we want to create a natural AI system that serves their needs among what we feel is insufficient,” he said.
Last November, Gamma raised $68 million in a Series B round led by a16z, at a cost of $2.1 billion. At the time, the company said it had an ARR of $100 million, and 70 million users. The company told TechCrunch that it is approaching 100 million users now.
