The AI-powered platform Picsart is launching I have an assistant marketplace, allowing developers to “rent” AI assistants to help them with specific tasks, such as resizing and reordering content, or changing product images on Shopify.
With over 130 million users around the world that span Gen Z, Picsart is like the ultimate Canva for social media managers and creatives. The company arrived the position of the unicorn in the rise of wealth of the Creator in 2021, but it has remained relevant by continuing to upgrade its AI-powered products to support the current market.
The time is right for Picsart to establish such a market, since viral projects like OpenClaw has fueled the industry’s need for AI chatbots that can handle requests like an assistant.
“Makers are stuck as the drivers of every project – who’s doing it, not choosing,” said Hovhannes Avoyan, Picsart’s founder and CEO, in a statement. “Our agents change the relationship – you set the strategy, the agent makes plans using real data, you approve, they execute.
Picsart says that it will introduce special assistants every week, but to start, creators can work with four assistants: Flair, Resize Pro, Remix, and Swap.

Flair Assistant is probably the most advanced of the bunch, combining with Shopify to become an assistant for online store owners. The agent analyzes market trends to make recommendations on how the store can improve, such as encouraging it to change product images to make them look more relevant. In the future, Flair will be able to run A/B tests and identify products that aren’t performing well to give suggestions on how the developer can improve their sales.
Resize Pro assistant can resize photos and videos to acceptable sizes on different platforms, but uses AI to enlarge the frame if the original media does not fit the size. The AI is supposed to make sure that edited images look like they were created on purpose and not just randomly cropped.

Assistant Remix asks the creator to specify a style, such as “vintage film,” “watercolor,” or “cyberpunk” and edit the existing image library to match the theme, while the assistant’s interface allows users to edit the history of many images.

For an agent like Flair, who has to work behind the scenes constantly analyzing store data, it would be especially useful for users to be able to chat with these agents on WhatsApp or Telegram. Picsart integrates with those apps mainly because their APIs enable businesses to implement AI chatbots; but as more platforms are adding similar features, functionality can be expanded.
“As agents are reaching out to the apps that communication developers already use, the conversation is happening anywhere – on the desk or on the subway,” added Avoyan.
In some cases, AI assistants can be difficult, because any program from LLM can be compromised and it can fail to take action that the creator did not want. But Picsart allows users to set up “autonomous roles” for agents like Flair, which gives them the option to require creator approval before taking action. These agents should also be insecure quick injection than agents looking at the public, considering that Picsart does not release agents that communicate directly with customers or the entire Internet.
Like many other AI tools, Picsart offers a free plan with only a few AIs per week, but users can get more access by paying for a premium subscription, which starts at around $10 per month when paid annually. To use the AI assistant, you will need a paid plan.
