“We’re sitting here teaching her about God, about family, about kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness,” Todd, 56, said during the couple’s “Chrisley Confessions” podcast on Wednesday, March 11, about their decision to center their faith in Chloe’s life. “Those are the things we taught her.”

We didn’t do something or didn’t do something to make people think that? She said, ‘Well, that’s their opinion,'” Todd shared. “She said, ‘I don’t live my life to please other people. I live my life to please God, my family and myself.'”

Chloe is the biological daughter of Todd’s son Kyle, whom Todd welcomed into his first marriage. Linxi. Todd, 53, and Julie have been raising Chloe since 2016. A month later, the couple officially adopted her before they report to prison in 2023.

“You have to look at us raising another child. Are we perfect parents? No, perfect parents don’t exist,” Jolie countered on Wednesday. “I would sit here today and say with complete honesty, ‘Am I the perfect parent? No, I’m not.'”
