Harveyand with Microsoft Copilot and generalist language majors (LLMs). Publicly owned software companies saw their stocks plummet while Anthropic revealed Claude’s official program.

Its Series D was led by Accel, with participation from incumbents Benchmark, Bessemer, General Catalyst, ICONIQ, Redpoint Ventures, and Y Combinator; and new backers including Alkeon Capital, Bain Capital, Firstmark Capital, Menlo Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Sands Capital, and Starwood Capital.
There are other signs that investors are interested in AI legaltech. Legora’s Series D and price jump come just a few months from October 2025 $150 million Series C round led at a cost of $1.8 billion. His competitor, Harvey, who is sponsored by a16z, is already there a total of $8 billionand now he says they want to raise the price of $ 11 billion. According to Commercial premisesthey are also on similar financial paths.
Both of them are also working around the world; Harvey is pushing hard in Europeand Legora on the other side. At first she was known as Judilica, then Leahstarted by an alum of Stockholm’s SSE Business Lab, a a famous place for unicorns. But after participating in the winter of YC 2024 batchLegora is now based in New York and is eager to continue pushing the US market, where its growth has exceeded expectations from Europe.
“It’s a 9 to 10 when it comes to legal use; it seems that Americans like to litigate more than we do in Europe,” Junestrand joked to the Techarena audience. But the team has grown globally – from 40 to 400 team members last year, according to a press release.
In addition to New York and Stockholm, Legora has offices in Bangalore, London, and Sydney, with more to follow. Along with the Series D, Legora announced that it will open offices in Houston and Chicago, with plans to open additional local locations and grow to over 300 employees in its US offices by the end of 2026.
