January 2024

Sabalenka met Frangulis after she was named an Oakberry ambassador.

They first connected during a joint business meeting about a partnership.

Sabalenka and Frangulis were first spotted together after she competed in the Mutua Madrid Open. Within months, the Brazilian was watching Sabalenka play at the Cincinnati Masters and U.S. Open.

Sabalenka and Frangulis announce engagement through numerous posts Instagram. In a carousel, photos show Frangulis kneeling on one knee and proposing to a visibly surprised Sabalenka.

“I can finally call him something else… fiancé 💍,” she captioned the photo.
