Who is Todd Meadows?
The 25-year-old was the “newest” member of the crew of the Aleutian Lady fishing boat, according to the tribute released Captain Rick Shelford March 1st.
“His love for fishing and strong work ethic instantly earned everyone’s respect,” Shelford’s Facebook post continued. “His smile was contagious and his laughter from the cheers on the wheelhouse stairs or on deck will be something we will carry with us forever.”

How did Todd Meadows die?
TMZ reported on March 2 that Meadows died in a “fishing-related” incident while filming The Deadly Catch. It was later reported that he “fell into the water” on February 25.
It has been confirmed that the incident was caught on camera during the filming of the Discovery Channel show us weekly Author: Meadows’ Roommate Trey John Green III.
“Filming on Discovery has finished, but there has been a producer and a deck camera crew on board for the past two months filming the show’s 22nd season,” he said. “Unfortunately, it was filmed.”
What happened to Todd Meadows?
The Coast Guard at the Arctic Command Center in Juneau, Alaska, was notified of the incident before working to get Meadows back on board.
