NCIS’s Wilmer Valderrama Talks Torres and Bishop’s Reunion Kiss

NCIS Fans have been waiting for Nick Torres and Ellie Bishop to reunite for years, and one thing is for sure, their chemistry is still intact.

Warning: The following spoilers are from NCIS Season 23 Episode 10.

In Tuesday’s episode titled “Her,” NCIS Agent Jessica Knight (hurricane katrina) and her elite NCIS task force are on a mission to capture Bishop (Wickersham), a wanted fugitive who allegedly stole government documents and turned into a dirty cop.

While on the run, Bishop stopped by Torres’ residence and immediately broke into his hidden stash of buttercream cakes, reminding fans how close the two were before she left NCIS for her undercover mission. Season 18, 2021.

Throughout the series, the truth about Bishop’s mission and why she’s being hunted comes to light – but only after she confides in Torres and they make amends. (Bishop’s black ops team has a mole who betrays them, and she’s determined to find out who this person is and save herself and her remaining teammates before they’re all killed.)

“I think enough time has passed for him to realize that letting him go is respectful of the journey she wants to go on,” Valderrama, 46, exclusively said. usnoted that Bishop admitted she was “afraid” Torres would ask her to stay when she decided to leave without saying goodbye, but still felt hurt.

Valderrama explained, “I think (Bishop) made the right choice. I would say the way she handled it came directly from Torres, like, ‘Not cool, bro. I don’t like the way you’re doing it.'”

After Torres and others Bishop’s former NCIS teammates Help her solve the crime and save her life and that of her remaining companion, Torres sees her off at the airport.

Before Bishop boarded the plane, she asked Torres to come with her. He replied, “Now, this is my place.”

“I don’t think it was a right or wrong decision,” Wickersham, 41, told CNN us Torres declined Bishop’s invitation. “I think the two of them have a really good chemistry and even if nothing happens right away… they’re living parallel lives.”

She noted that “their paths intertwined,” implying that this never see you again.

Valderrama agreed, noting that Torres “swore an oath to his team” to stick with them and “protect” what they’ve built. Bishop’s moment was “confusing,” he explained, but it begs the question: “Is this the end of our chapter, or the beginning of a new one?”

Valderrama added, “I think he respects that we’re all on this twin track. Will that track intertwine again? I’d be surprised if they don’t.”

In the final moments of the episode, Torres and Bishop passionately kissed, once again leaving the door open for a possible rekindled romance in the future.

“I think with both characters, and the nature of both characters, I think they hope that at some point they find themselves shot at the same time,” Valderrama told usWickersham replied: “I like that.”

Wickersham also told us She “loves” the NCIS family and is “always open to more” cameos, so this won’t necessarily be the last time viewers see Bishop and Torres.

“I don’t think we leave the door open. I leave that up to the writers,” she said. “I don’t know what their plans were, but I had a great time. And I was always down.”
