Us Weekly confirmed that a mass shooting occurred outside a bar in Austin, Texas, leaving three people dead, including the suspected gunman, and 14 others seriously injured.
Austin police say shots were fired outside the Buford Beer Garden at West Sixth and Rio Grande streets in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 1.
Police arrived at the scene around 1:40 a.m. and eliminated the suspected shooter, whose name has not been released, according to authorities.
Police have not yet released the name of the deceased.
Eyewitness video shared on social media, purportedly taken from the scene, shows police officers pinning a man to the ground while emergency medical personnel rendered aid.
The man who recorded the video claims “this is the bastard who shot up the bar.”

“They literally save lives,” Davis said.
Davis explained that upon arrival, authorities confronted a man who was fleeing the scene with a gun and “returned fire, killing the shooter.”

Members of the Austin Police Department and FBI remained at the scene of the shooting late Sunday morning. A handgun and a rifle were also said to have been found at the scene.
