Honor first teased a “Robot phone” with a flexible camera earlier this year. Ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, a Chinese company has been held in Barcelona. The company said it plans to launch the device in the second half of this year.
Honor said the robot also has a “personality” and can respond to you with a “nod” and can even dance to music. The company noted that users can talk to an agent on the phone via text and voice. Honor showed a video of a person asking for clothes, and the robot nods or shakes to describe an outfit.
The phone has a 200-megapixel camera on a three-axis gimbal moving robot with stabilization technology. The company said the camera can rotate smoothly and capture smooth videos and photos. It also has Super Steady mode for video recording. The company said the phone can record videos through its Spinshot feature that makes the robot camera rotate by 90 or 180 degrees.

The robot camera also allows for more video calls that can follow you around with AI-powered tracking. The technology is like Apple’s Center Stage on steroids if it works.
The company said it developed its own microcomputer to control the movement of the robotic camera. It noted that it used some of the same techniques used in foldable phones to make the camera rigid and fit the four-degree gimbal into the phone’s body. Honor said it is using the same robotic arm hardware as the Honor Magic V6 hinge, with a tensile strength of 2800 MPa.

So respect released the Honor Magic V6 foldable with a 6,600 mAh battery, the Honor MagicPad 4 tablet, and the Honor MagicBook 14 laptop in its lineup.
