The meteorologist seemed annoyed, complaining, “I just don’t know why you don’t listen to me!”
The sequence becomes even more embarrassing when Potter says she wasn’t paying attention because Bolin was “bored.”

Hours after the segment aired, Bolling sought to clarify that there was no ill intent behind his on-air altercation with Porter.

The videos going around are just the way we screw each other over. We tend to forget the fact that we’re on TV at 10pm (and we’re just as tired as you) and sometimes we take it too far lol.”
Bolling reiterated that he and Porter were “very close” outside of the show and often looked to each other for support both inside and outside the workplace.
“When Carney is in a bad mood at work, who does she talk to? Me. If I’m in a bad mood at work, who do I talk to? Carney,” he revealed. “Who gave Carney a ride when her car was parked in the store? Me. Who gave me a ride when my car got stuck behind a patch of ice? Carney. Who bought her a glass with a quote on it that we both used as a birthday gift for her? Me.”
Bohling continued, “Who bought me balloons for my 30th birthday? Carney. When Carney lost her power because of a billing error, who did she turn to for help? Me. When I had a panic attack (always struggled with anxiety, really bad), who helped me calm down? Carney.”

“I know Michael and I seem to be at each other’s throats, but please understand this is always and just for fun,” she wrote. Via Facebook Thursday. “We’re actually close friends and we enjoy sarcastic remarks about each other, and sometimes these situations sound more serious than they really are, especially to people who don’t understand the dynamics of our friendship.”
“But that being said, I would never intentionally be mean or hurtful to Michael or anyone in our newsroom, either on or off the air,” she added. “We’re all so close and I’m so lucky that we’re all such good friends! I sincerely apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable!”
